The Incredible Advancement of Spring Manufacture
Here at European Springs, we are very proud to be able to offer one of the most sophisticated, efficient and technologically advanced methods of spring production there is. Like many industries, methods of spring production and the performance and reliability of machinery have advanced significantly in recent years, and production lines have been revolutionised.
In the present day, due to the advancement in technology we have been able to produce the UK's widest range of springs, supporting an incredibly wide range of industries and uses. Our springs are used in an incredibly wide range of products across the world and very simple compression springs are a vital part of countless operations, from revolutionary high performance cars and Aerospace engineering, to traditional everyday items such as trampolines.
At European Springs, we have been manufacturing high quality springs of various types for over 60 years. In this time, the basic products we produce have changed little, apart from improvements in strength, and an explosion in the purposes for their use; our methods of production however, have been transformed.
In the early days, the machinery we used produced quality products, but at incredibly inefficient rates compared to what we now experience. Our modern and hi-tech machinery enables us to now produce an incredible 3,000,000 components per hour, thanks to the fact that it takes a fraction of a second for one of our machines to produce a simple compression spring. Our production processes are extremely streamlined, and any faults in our products during production are incredibly rare. This allows for our products to be used in an amazingly wide range of industries.
This improved efficiency is a vitally important advancement, as springs are a fundamental component in an ever increasing range of products, and since they are based on basic laws of physics, the forms in which they are produced has changed little since they first came into use in basic coil forms during the 15th century.
Moving into the future, we are sure that we will continue to see advancements in the operations of our business, in terms of the efficiency of production, yet will continue to produce the items which are a key component of countless pieces of technology which we could not live without.
